DESCRIPTION
Paraplanner
Harrogate
£35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate)
NJR Recruitment is working with an established and growing Practice in Harrogate to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their friendly, multi-adviser team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to become an integral part of an established financial planning business, working closely with advisers and supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning services to a varied client base.
The Practice covers a broad range of financial planning areas, including retirement planning, investments, Inheritance Tax planning and family protection.
The Role
As Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting the advisers, providing technical expertise and helping to deliver tailored financial planning solutions to clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
\" Undertaking detailed research and analysis to identify suitable financial planning solutions.
\" Preparing high-quality, compliant suitability reports and recommendations for advisers to present to clients.
\" Analysing client information and financial circumstances to support the development of financial plans.
\" Providing technical support and guidance to advisers on a range of financial planning matters.
\" Researching Life, Pension and Investment products.
\" Reviewing reports and documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity and compliance.
\" Liaising closely with the administration team to ensure new business is processed accurately and systems are kept up to date.
\" Supporting the full client journey and maintaining excellent standards of client service.
About You
We are keen to speak with an experienced Paraplanner who takes pride in producing high-quality reports and delivering an excellent service to both advisers and clients.
Ideally, you will have:
\" Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within a financial planning or IFA environment.
\" Strong report-writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
\" Experience researching and recommending Life, Pension and Investment solutions.
\" A good technical understanding of financial planning products and processes.
\" The ability to manage your workload effectively and work to deadlines.
\" Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
\" A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning would be advantageous although not essential.
