Our client is a well-established distributor that is dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative products. Due to their ever-expanding growth they are now seeking a Procurement Data Administrator to join their team. The business is well respected and successful -its success is based on great products, hard work, flexibility, and innovation and delivering results.


Job Purpose:
To clean, maintain and update supplier, product and market data within the internal systems, and provide administration support to the Procurement Team.

Key Responsibilities:
o Clean, maintain and update supplier and product data.
o Periodically update, review and communicate commodity price/input cost movements
o Periodically update, review and communicate supplier financial analysis
o Conduct analysis of supplier performance and spend (quarterly)
o Track supplier capacities and highlight any opportunities or issues
o Update cost price trackers and tender documents
o Track COGS savings and CPI impacts
o Support the procurement team with daily administrative tasks and reporting
o Create and distribute monthly procurement report
o Assist with onboarding new suppliers
o Collate periodic market reviews (including samples)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
" Strong Excel, Outlook, PowerBI and Database skills
" Highly numerate
" Excellent attention to detail
" Able to communicate with stakeholders internal & external, at all levels
" Can work to deadlines and within defined standards
" Constructively challenges in the pursuit of continuous improvement
" Uses time effectively to manage a busy workload with the ability to prioritise important tasks
" Desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future

Desirable:
" Knowledge of utilising AI applications to improve business process
" Previous experience in a Procurement function


Based in South Manchester, not far from Manchester Airport they also have great public transport links.
