DESCRIPTION
Are you a Casualty Claims specialist with good knowledge, understanding and experience of Casualty EL/PL Claims? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment?
If so, we have a brand new opportunity for a Casualty Claims Loss Inspector to join the expanding Casualty Claims team at Protector Insurance, in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
The Opportunity:
As Casualty Claims Loss Inspector you will be required to use both your technical expertise and practical claims experience to proactively investigate and assess liability claims. You will be required to investigate Employers\' Liability, Public Liability, Product Liability and Motor Personal Injury claims.
In doing so you will gather physical evidence, interview key parties and conduct inspections. This will result in you providing well structured and highly technical reports which will directly enable the claims team to make accurate decisions on liability and quantum in an efficient manner.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have proven experience investigating or managing liability claims, including Employers\' Liability, Public Liability, Product Liability and Motor claims
- Excellent understanding of legal principles, lititgation frameworks, civil procedure rules and liability reserving methodologies
- Possess strong oral and written communication, time management and comfortable interviewing diverse parties on-site.
- Able to translate complex findings into detailed technical reports whilst being highly organised, show ownership of working independently and have a strong sense of initiative
