Receptionist / Administration Assistant
Shrewsbury
Salary: £25,500 - £26,500
Full-Time | Permanent | Office-Based
NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful professional services business to recruit a Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join their team in Shrewsbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional, organised and client-focused individual who enjoys being the first point of contact for clients and visitors, while also providing essential administrative support across the business.
The Role
Based in the Shrewsbury office, you\'ll be responsible for creating a warm and professional welcome for clients and visitors, managing incoming calls and post, maintaining office supplies and supporting the wider team with a variety of administrative tasks.
You\'ll play an important role in ensuring the office runs smoothly and that clients receive a first-class service at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
\" Answer incoming telephone calls and redirect calls appropriately.
\" Take accurate messages and ensure they are passed to the relevant colleagues.
\" Meet and greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
\" Open, scan and distribute incoming post and deliveries.
\" Print correspondence and log information onto relevant computer systems.
\" Frank and send outgoing post.
\" Ensure meeting rooms are clean, organised and presentable before and after client meetings.
\" Provide refreshments for client meetings.
\" Monitor stationery and office supplies, including paper, toner, tea and coffee, and reorder when required.
\" Maintain accurate client database information.
\" Complete general office administration and support tasks across both offices.
\" Attend and contribute to team meetings.
\" Provide holiday cover and support colleagues when required.
\" Assist with other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the business.

The successful candidate will have:
\" A professional appearance and manner.
\" Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages.
\" Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
\" Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
\" Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
\" The ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality.
\" A professional and client-focused approach.
