Financial Planning Administrator
Leicestershire | Up to £28,000
Our client is a successful boutique Financial Planning business with an excellent reputation and a loyal client base across the East Midlands. As the business continues to grow, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking to take the next step in their career and become an integral part of a growing boutique practice.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work closely and directly with the Director of the business, providing dedicated one-to-one administrative support and gaining valuable exposure to all aspects of the financial planning process.
You will become a key member of the team, working alongside the Director to ensure clients receive a consistently high level of service. Due to the boutique nature of the business, the role offers a more personal and collaborative working environment, with the opportunity to take ownership of your work and make a genuine contribution to the continued growth of the practice.
The role is primarily office-based, with some flexibility for home working where required.
Key Responsibilities
\" Provide comprehensive one-to-one administrative support to the Director and Financial Planner.
\" Prepare and process new business applications across pensions and investments.
\" Liaise confidently with product providers and clients to obtain policy information, documentation and updates.
\" Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using relevant back-office systems.
\" Prepare client review packs, reports and supporting documentation ahead of meetings.
\" Monitor new business pipelines and ensure cases are progressed efficiently and within required timescales.
\" Assist with valuations, fund switches and withdrawals where required.
\" Ensure all client documentation meets FCA regulatory standards and the firm\'s internal compliance procedures.
\" Provide wider administrative support across the business, ensuring the smooth running of the client journey from initial contact through to ongoing servicing.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
\" Previous experience within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment - essential.
\" Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
\" Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
\" Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach.
\" A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
\" Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
\" Knowledge of financial products, including pensions, investments and protection, would be advantageous.
\" Previous experience using industry-specific back-office systems would be beneficial.
