DESCRIPTION
A well-established insurance brokerage is looking to appoint an experienced Development Account Executive to join their Manchester team on a hybrid basis. Sitting within the corporate division, this role is focused on developing new business and building a high-quality client portfolio, with the support of an experienced leadership team and strong internal infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships and is motivated by winning and developing business.

Responsibilities of the Development Account Executive:
- Generate new business and deliver against agreed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals and market activity.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to support long-term growth.
- Understand client needs and provide advice on suitable insurance solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to place business and ensure a smooth client experience.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure activity is aligned with FCA requirements.

What we are looking for:
- Previous experience within the Commercial Insurance industry in a similar Account Executive or client-facing role is essential.
- Proven experience in a new business or development-focused role.
- Ability to build relationships and convert opportunities into long-term clients.
- Confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing a pipeline.
- Experience using Acturis and Microsoft Office systems.
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
- CII qualifications desirable or in progress.
