Bury Area / 2 days WFH
Salary: up to £45,000
Are you an experienced & Qualified Paraplanner looking to join a supportive and collaborative financial planning firm where your technical expertise is genuinely valued? NJR Recruitment is working in Partnership with a small firm of Independent Financial Planners who is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Qualified Paraplanner to work closely with a team of Financial Planners, to provide high-quality technical support, research and compliant report writing.
The Role
You\'ll be responsible for supporting Financial Planners throughout the advice process, preparing suitability reports, carrying out technical research, and ensuring client recommendations are delivered accurately and compliantly.
You\'ll also act as a key point of contact for clients and providers, helping to ensure a smooth and professional client experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
\" Prepare compliant suitability reports and technical recommendations
\" Conduct research across pensions, investments and protection products
\" Work closely with Financial Planners to develop tailored client recommendations
\" Review client investment portfolios, asset allocations and risk profiles
\" Prepare illustrations, reports and supporting documentation
\" Complete applications and proposal forms accurately
\" Liaise with providers, clients and third parties throughout the advice process
\" Assist with implementing client recommendations, including investment changes where appropriate
\" Maintain accurate and compliant client records
\" Use cashflow modelling software to support financial planning recommendations
\" Contribute to the firm\'s central investment proposition through research and analysis
\" Suggest improvements to processes and ways of working
\" Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures
About You
The successful candidate will have:
\" Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Financial Planning practice
\" Experience preparing suitability reports and supporting Financial Advisers
\" A good understanding of pensions, investments and wider financial planning
\" Strong report writing and research skills
\" Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\" Strong written and verbal communication skills
\" Good IT skills and confidence using financial planning software
\" A collaborative approach and a positive attitude
\" A commitment to delivering excellent client service
Qualifications
\" Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is essential
\" A commitment to continuing professional development and maintaining technical knowledge
