Desk Based Financial Adviser
Salary: up to £50,000
Birmingham based
Must be Level 4 Diploma qualified to be considered
Are you an experienced Financial Adviser looking for a flexible, desk-based role where you can focus on delivering high-quality advice and building long-term client relationships?
We are working with a well-established financial services firm seeking a skilled Desk Based Adviser to provide ongoing, compliant advice to an existing client base via telephone and virtual meetings.
The Role
This is a client-focused position where you will deliver ongoing financial advice remotely, ensuring clients receive a professional and compliant service aligned with their individual needs and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
\" Provide ongoing financial advice to clients via telephone and virtual meetings
\" Conduct regular client reviews in line with agreed service levels and client agreements
\" Gather and analyse detailed client information to support suitable recommendations
\" Undertake product and market research to ensure best client outcomes
\" Maintain accurate and compliant documentation before and after client reviews
\" Focus on client retention and long-term relationship management
\" Ensure all advice is delivered in line with FCA regulations and company procedures
\" Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, legislation, and market developments
\" Ensure CPD is recorded and Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) is always valid
About You
\" Minimum 5+ years\' experience as a Financial Adviser
\" Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent)
\" Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
\" Comfortable delivering advice in a fully desk-based / remote capacity
\" Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\" Highly organised with strong attention to detail
\" A proactive and professional approach to client service
