DESCRIPTION
Senior Paraplanner
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to North Yorkshire if required)
Salary: Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking for a long-term role in a boutique, client-centric environment? NJR Recruitment is working with a highly regarded and growing independent wealth planning firm to recruit a Senior Paraplanner who thrives in a close-knit, values-led team and is committed to delivering excellent client outcomes

This is a rare opportunity to join a small firm that offers genuine autonomy, flexibility, and a focus on quality over volume. If you're someone who takes pride in technical detail, report writing, and client communication-and enjoys working collaboratively across financial planning functions-this role could be the perfect fit

About the Role:
As a Paraplanner, you will take day-to-day responsibility for managing and supporting client relationships, while providing technical input across the advice process.

Your key responsibilities will include:
" Attending and supporting client meetings, preparing clear and compliant meeting notes
" Writing high-quality suitability reports across pensions, investments, estate and tax planning
" Conducting technical research using tools like FE Analytics, CashCalc, Selectapension
" Reviewing portfolios and proactively identifying review needs and opportunities
" Liaising with providers and supporting implementation of advice
" Maintaining accurate client records and supporting ongoing compliance standards

What We're Looking For:
" Extensive experience in a paraplanning role with strong knowledge of technical and complex cases
" Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) minimum - Chartered status preferable
" Strong report writing and research skills
" Excellent written and verbal communication
" Confident using platforms such as AJ Bell, Aegon (ex Cofunds) and financial planning tools
" Detail-focused, proactive, and client service-oriented
" Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

What's on Offer:
" Salary up to £60,000 (DOE)
" Remote working with flexibility to fit your lifestyle
" Collaborative, supportive team culture
" Generous holiday allowance (25+ days plus bank holidays)
" Tailored benefits package based on individual needs
" A role that values longevity, trust, and work-life balance

If you're looking to join a people-first business where your input makes a real impact - and where clients are genuinely placed at the heart of the process - we'd love to hear from you.
