NJR Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Protector Insurance UK for a Finance Assistant to join their growing Manchester team.

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will provide day-to-day accounting and transactional support across a wide range of finance activities.
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:
- Set up and validate new suppliers, process supplier invoices, and prepare payment runs.
- Record financial transactions in Microsoft Dynamics AX and maintain digital filing systems.
- Manage the finance inbox and respond to supplier and employee queries.
- Support the senior finance team with month-end activities and ad hoc tasks.
- Carry out bank reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and embrace AI to streamline finance operations.
What we are looking for:
- Experience using accounting software such as Dynamics or Sage.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Previous experience working in a busy finance team, ideally within financial services.
- AAT qualified, part-qualified, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines.
