DESCRIPTION
A rare opportunity for an Account Executive / PI Specialist to step into a senior role within a highly respected insurance and risk advisory environment. This position sits within a specialist PI practice focused on complex construction-sector risks, while also supporting strategic growth into wider professional services markets, including design & construct.

This is a senior advisory position where you will take ownership of a portfolio of sophisticated PI clients, acting as their lead point of contact and trusted advisor. You will work closely with specialist broking teams to design and deliver tailored solutions, while also playing a key role in identifying and converting new business opportunities across established and emerging markets.

The role is initially based in Liverpool with flexibility to work virtually and from Manchester, offering a modern, agile working approach suited to senior professionals operating at this level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of Professional Indemnity clients across construction and wider professional services sectors.
- Act as lead advisor on complex PI risks, delivering tailored and technically robust solutions.
- Drive new business development across design & construct and broader professional services markets.
- Collaborate closely with broking teams to structure, present, and place complex risks into the market.
- Lead proactive client engagement to support retention and long-term relationship development.
- Contribute directly to revenue growth across existing accounts and new opportunities.
- Represent the business at a senior level within the market, building strong insurer and client relationships.
- Optional involvement in mentoring or supporting junior colleagues, depending on preference.

What we are looking for:
- Strong technical expertise in Professional Indemnity insurance.
- Proven background within a commercial insurance brokerage environment.
- Deep understanding of construction-sector PI risks, particularly design and construct.
- Demonstrable success in developing new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen with a consultative, advisory approach.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident operating in a senior, client-facing capacity.
- ACII or equivalent qualification preferred.
