IFA Report Writer (Paraplanning Support)
Leeds
Up to £38,000 (DOE)
NJR Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing Financial Planning firm in Leeds who are looking to recruit an experienced Report Writer to join their technical support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial planning knowledge who enjoys the technical side of the role, focusing on producing high-quality, compliant suitability reports to support advisers.
The Role
Working closely with a small team of Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, you will be responsible for producing clear, accurate and compliant client reports.
Key responsibilities include:
\" Writing suitability reports across pensions, investments and protection
\" Translating technical recommendations into clear, client-friendly documentation
\" Ensuring all reports meet FCA regulatory standards and internal compliance requirements
\" Supporting paraplanners and advisers with documentation for new business and reviews
\" Reviewing and editing reports for accuracy, consistency and quality
\" Maintaining templates and ensuring documentation aligns with company standards
About You
\" Previous experience within an IFA / Financial Planning environment
\" Strong experience writing or assisting with suitability reports
\" Good technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products
\" Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
\" Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment
\" A methodical and quality-driven approach
\" Paraplanning qualifications or progress towards these would be advantageous but not essential.
