IFA Administrator & Paraplanner
Chester
Up To £32,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Administrator & Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, supporting advisers, and delivering a high standard of service to clients.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, ensuring the smooth delivery of client services and maintaining efficient administrative processes. This is a varied and hands-on position suited to someone with previous financial services experience and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

Provide pre-sales administrative support, including preparation of engagement letters and client documentation
Issue Letters of Authority and gather information from providers
Obtain valuations, quotes, and application forms as required
Prepare client files and support advisers ahead of meetings
Maintain and update back-office systems and client records
Manage adviser diaries, meetings, and workloads
Assist with client communications, including newsletters and updates
Handle incoming calls and respond to initial enquiries
Meet and greet visitors and provide front-of-house support
Carry out general administration and ad hoc duties as required
About You

Previous experience within the Financial Services industry is essential
Ideally working towards (or keen to start) CII qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Confident dealing with clients and providers
Able to manage workload effectively in a busy environment
Proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic with a “can do” attitude
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
Key Skills & Competencies

Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Effective planning, prioritisation, and time management
Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
Adaptable with a proactive approach to improving systems and processes
