Bury Area - Fully Office Based - Onsite parking

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Paraplanner to join an award winning, and highly regarded firm of Chartered Financial Planners. Based in beautiful, modern offices on the outskirts of Bury, this role is ideal for a technically strong individual who enjoys delivering high-quality research, building adviser relationships, and playing a key part in the client journey.

The Role
You will work closely with Financial Advisers to support the delivery of tailored, compliant financial advice. This includes carrying out detailed research, analysing client needs, and producing high-quality reports across a full range of financial planning areas.

Key Responsibilities
1. Gather and analyse client information, including existing financial arrangements
2. Conduct gap analysis and support the development of financial planning strategies
3. Research suitable products and providers in line with client objectives and regulatory requirements
4. Produce clear, detailed, and client-friendly reports and recommendations
5. Prepare valuations, portfolio analysis, and meeting documentation
6. Liaise with Advisers, providers, and internal teams throughout the advice process
7. Support the submission and approval of compliant new business
8. Maintain accurate client records on back-office systems
9. Monitor workflow and ensure tasks are completed within agreed timescales
10. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance client outcomes

About You
1. Qualified or working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum requirement)
2. Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, taxation, and retirement planning
3. Experience in producing suitability reports and financial planning documentation
4. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
7. Proactive, with a "can do" attitude and willingness to learn
8. Team player with the ability to build strong working relationships
