DESCRIPTION
My client has an excellent opportunity for a Junior / Assistant QA Technologist to join their team. Candidates will have some experience in a QA role- ideally within electricals, homewares or similar.
Job Purpose:
Working with the wider QA team you will:
Ensure that all products we bring to market are safe, fit for purpose and are of excellent Quality, meeting both internal & external customer requirements.
To advise on product Quality Improvements & cost saving suggestions and following these through to implementation with OEM manufacturers.
Implementation of the product development launch pipeline, following the Technical processes required, for right-first-time and on-time product delivery/launch.
To meet all legal compliance standards required and constantly meet customer expectations in relation to the Quality of our products.
To monitor and advise on product performance in the market by reviewing/assessing product returns and customer feedback. Work with Refurbishment team to ensure any return trends are identified and corrective actions implemented.
Experience Required:
Some experience in a QA role- ideally within electricals, homewares or similar.
Computer literate with keyboard skills.
Adaptable, flexible, energetic and enthusiastic with an open minded approach.
Positive and pro-active attitude to changing demands and priorities as required.
Good communication skills.
Able to set own priorities.
