Paraplanning Associate
Chorley (Hybrid - 2 Days WFH)
Salary: Up to £32,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanning Associate to join a growing financial planning firm in Chorley. This role is ideal for someone with industry experience who is looking to develop their technical knowledge and progress within a supportive paraplanning team.

The Role
Working as part of the Paraplanning team, you will support the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial planning reports. You will gain exposure to a wide range of advice cases while developing your technical skills and understanding of the full client journey.

Key Responsibilities
" Interpret client files and adviser instructions to assist in producing Financial Planning Reports
" Carry out research and analysis to identify suitable providers, products, and investment solutions
" Support the preparation of accurate, well-presented reports within agreed timescales
" Liaise with the Technical Team Leader and Compliance Team where required
" Maintain accurate records and update internal systems regularly
" Ensure all work meets compliance and regulatory standards
" Commit to ongoing development and achieving required competency levels

About You
" Minimum 3 years' experience within a Financial Planning firm
" Working towards Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
" Good understanding of UK financial services regulation
" Strong written and verbal communication skills
" High attention to detail with a methodical approach
" Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
" Able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
" Team player with a proactive and professional attitude
