Junior Paraplanner
Wakefield
£26,000-£30,000 + Bonus

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading, fast-growing wealth management firm in Wakefield as they look to recruit an ambitious Junior Paraplanner to join their support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with early-stage technical knowledge who is eager to develop into a fully qualified Paraplanner.

The Opportunity:
This role is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in technical report writing and at least RO1 (or higher) who wants hands-on training, exam support, and clear progression into a full Paraplanner position.

You'll work closely with senior Paraplanners, Advisers, and Directors, gaining experience in the entire advice process-from research and analysis to drafting suitability reports and supporting client recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with gathering and analysing client information
Processing new business requests
Conduct research across pensions, investments, and protection
Draft suitability letters and supporting documents (including AI-assisted templates)
Support advisers with case preparation and technical queries
Help implement advice recommendations and liaise with providers
Maintain accurate, compliant client files

What We're Looking For:
RO1 (minimum) - additional exams highly advantageous
Experience in financial planning support or report writing
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
Excellent attention to detail
Professional communication skills
A proactive team player with a positive attitude and a desire to progress

What's on Offer:
£26,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Discretionary bonus scheme

35 hours per week
