Location: Lancashire
Salary: Up to £34,000 (DOE)
Full-Time | Permanent | Exam Support | Flexible Working

NJR Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly respected and fast-growing financial planning firm that's part of a national group with a strong regional presence across the North-West. Known for their values-driven culture and commitment to true financial planning, they are now looking to recruit a 'Paraplanner' to join their expanding team.
Working within a highly collaborative team, you'll be responsible for supporting advisers by preparing high-quality financial planning reports and conducting thorough technical research. You'll liaise with key stakeholders across the business including compliance and technical leads, helping deliver a tailored and compliant client experience.
What's on Offer:
" Salary up to £34,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
" Interpret adviser instructions and client files to prepare accurate and compliant Financial Planning Reports
" Conduct product, fund, and provider research to support tailored advice
" Liaise with the compliance team on pre-sale sign-offs where required
" Update and maintain paraplanning logs and internal systems
" Ensure reports are delivered to agreed timescales and to the highest standard
" Participate in your own professional development plan and training initiatives
What We're Looking For:
" Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial planning firm
" At least 1-2 years in a dedicated Paraplanner role
" Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or 1-2 exams away from completion)
" Strong understanding of financial products, regulation, and client suitability principles
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
" Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
" Organised, analytical and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
" Team-oriented with a genuine commitment to doing high-quality work
Desirable:
" Working towards Chartered status
" Ability to deliver and receive constructive feedback
" Strong critical thinking and multi-tasking skills
