DESCRIPTION
We\'re recruiting for an experienced Professional Indemnity Account Executive to join a close-knit, down-to-earth team that takes pride in doing things properly. This is a relationship-driven Professional Indemnity Account Executive role, suited to someone who enjoys owning client relationships, delivering a consistently high level of service, and being trusted to manage their book without unnecessary noise or pressure.
The business is Professional Indemnity-centric, working largely with construction and solicitor clients, but the role isn\'t one-dimensional. As a Professional Indemnity Account Executive, you\'ll also work across Cyber, Management Liability, and Office Combined risks, giving you technical variety while keeping PI firmly at the core. You\'ll take over an established book of business worth £200,000-£250,000, with development expected naturally over time, but with the clear priority being quality service, retention, and long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Taking full ownership of an existing portfolio as a Professional Indemnity Account Executive, becoming a trusted point of contact for your clients.
- Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and ongoing client requirements with care, accuracy, and commercial awareness.
- Advising clients across Professional Indemnity, Cyber, Management Liability, and Office Combined products.
- Building strong, lasting relationships that support retention and sustainable growth.
- Spotting development opportunities within the existing book without a hard sales culture.
- Working closely with colleagues and insurers in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within the insurance industry, with a strong focus on Professional Indemnity.
- Experience operating as an Account Executive, confidently managing and servicing your own book of clients.
- A people-first approach, with the personality to build trust and the professionalism to maintain it.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to handle technical conversations.
- A grounded, team-oriented mindset suited to a down-to-earth, hard-working culture.
- High standards of integrity expected within a regulated financial services environment.
Benefits:
- Salary up to £62,000 (inclusive of car allowance), plus bonus and benefits.
- Hybrid working, with three days working from home.
- 26 days\' holiday plus bank holidays.
- Opportunities to progress across the wider group.
- Support to gain CII or ACII qualifications.
- Pension scheme.
- 24-hour wellbeing support.
- One paid volunteering day each year.
If you\'re a Professional Indemnity Account Executive who enjoys being trusted with your clients, values good people around you, and wants a role where service actually comes first, this is well worth a conversation.
