DESCRIPTION
A new opportunity has come to market for a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter to join one of our reputable insurance company clients.
As Senior Motor Trade Underwriter, you will work as part of the Commercial team, contributing to the profitability of the Northern regions and wider Mid-Market business, developing and underwriting commercial lines motor trade risks and actively managing existing clients.
You will need to utilise your experience and knowledge within underwriting to build and develop excellent relationships with brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Profitably developing and underwriting commercial motor trade risks.
- Developing good relationships with Mid-Market brokers, acting as the nominated underwriter for motor trade products.
- Contributing to the growth of the commercial line account by effectively managing new and existing relationships.
Skills and Experience:
- A strong background and experience in Motor Trade underwriting.
- Have a good understanding of and knowledge of the broker market.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
- Must be qualified to Cert CII. DIP or progress towards would be great.
- Ability to work well both independently and also as part of a team.
