NJR are currently working with a well-established supplier of ladieswear supplying the High Street Retailers and now due to growth they are seeking a Junior Product Developer to join their team.
This role would suit a Fashion / Textiles Graduate - who has completed a relevant placement year (Buying, Product Development, Merchandising, etc
As a Product Developer, you will play a key role in managing the product development process from concept to final sample. You\'ll be responsible for ensuring timelines are met, communication is clear, and samples are accurately tracked and prioritised. This role involves close collaboration with factories, account managers, and the company director.
Responsibilities
\" Manage the end-to-end product development cycle, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
\" Liaise confidently with offshore factories, account managers, and the director
\" Prioritise workload and sample development based on urgency and business needs
\" Maintain and update critical paths (CPs) and development trackers regularly
\" Track all incoming and outgoing samples, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up
\" Monitor and manage development timelines to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery
Candidates will come from a supplier background (ideally apparel) and will have worked in a similar role - either during a placement year or post grad.
